Professional Engineers Country Weekend in Ballarat, Vic on 3rd 4th 5th Oct 2025 – Invitation
Some Professional Engineers from all over Victoria or even Australia, and their families/friends, might be interested in attending a well organized special Country Weekend in Ballarat in central west Victoria.
The Victorian Regional Professional Engineers Groups are holding a Country Weekend on Fri 3rd Sat 4th and Sun 5th October 2025. The Weekend includes tours of notable engineering works and facilities in the Ballarat area as well as an opportunity to meet up with fellow Professional Engineers. Participation places are available for any Professional Engineer and their family/friends.

This year the Weekend is planned to enable participants to PAYG with the only upfront charge being $90/head for the Saturday evening buffet dinner at the Mercure Convention Centre, Ballarat. The bank account details to pay this $90/head into are given under “Payment” on Page 2.
For those who would like to easily participate from Melbourne for one day only on the Saturday 4th Oct, a program has been arranged to meet with the Melbourne (Southern Cross) – Ballarat train in both directions. The train leaves Southern Cross at 8.35am and arrives back there at 6.45pm at the end of the day. The detailed program for this special day is spelt out well on P3 of the flyer below.

To help with registration it would be good if you would copy page 1 and 2 of the flyer, tick all the events you would like to participate in and then show after each tick the number of people in your group planning to attend that event. Then please email this marked-up flyer to David or Martin & Mary-Anne Duke. If your group plans to attend all the activities, you may instead email this simple information stating the number of people in your group.
All city and country Professional Engineers and their families/friends are welcome to attend any or all of the events over the Weekend.
