Professional Engineers Country Weekend in Geelong, Vic on 9th, 10th & 11th Oct 2026 – Invitation
Some Professional Engineers from all over Victoria or even Australia, and their families/friends, might be interested in attending a well organized special Country Weekend in Geelong in southern Victoria west of Melbourne.
The Victorian Regional Professional Engineers Groups, including the Geelong Regional Engineers Group, are holding a Country Weekend on Fri 9th & Sat 10th plus Sun 11th October 2026. The Weekend includes tours of notable engineering works and facilities in the Geelong area as well as an opportunity to meet up with fellow Professional Engineers and their families and friends. Participation places are available for any Professional Engineer and their family/friends.

This year the Weekend is planned to enable participants to PAYG via the Humantix booking website. The Saturday evening buffet dinner with guest speakers is at the EDEN OAK Geelong.
For those who would like to easily participate from Melbourne for one day only on the Saturday 10th Oct, a program has been arranged to meet with the Melbourne (Southern Cross) – Geelong train in both directions. The train leaves Southern Cross at 8.50 am and arrives back there at 6.20 pm at the end of the day. The detailed program for this special day is spelt out well on P2 of the flyer below.
